Mexico City Is a Different Operation: What Roberto Knows
Roberto runs operations for us in Mexico City.
Mexico City is a different operation than Cancun. Different traffic, different permits, different partners, different guest expectations. An operator who performs well in coastal destinations does not necessarily achieve the same success in urban markets.
What Roberto knows and lives is, for example, that Mexico City tours need 25% more time allocated for traffic buffers than our model assumed, and if you didn't budget for that, you lose the whole day's schedule.
He also knows that the best way to avoid most of the crowds in Mexico City is by choosing specific pickup times that avoid rush hour overlap. Not by limiting bookings. By structuring when and how we run tours.
This is the kind of operational knowledge that doesn't exist in any tour operator textbook. It comes from running routes, watching patterns, and paying attention for years.
You can't buy this. You can only build it by having someone like Roberto on the ground.
I am proud to have the opportunity to work with him.
